i’m Stian Ulriksen

I’m a lifestyle family photographer based in North Texas, focused on documenting families in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and true to who they are. My sessions are less about perfect posing and more about connection, those in-between moments that often mean the most.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I originally fell in love with it through landscapes, but everything changed when I became a parent. Watching my own children grow made me realize just how quickly these seasons pass, and how meaningful it is to have photographs that truly reflect what life felt like in those moments.

That perspective shapes the way I approach every session. I create an easy, low-pressure environment where families can simply be themselves; whether we’re outdoors at a favorite local spot or spending time together at home. The goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest, warm, and timeless, and that you’ll want to return to for years to come.

As a parent myself, I understand how unpredictable kids can be, and that’s more than okay. Some of the most meaningful images come from letting go of expectations and embracing the moment as it unfolds.
